137 Mr. Noonan (Limerick East) asked the Minister for the Environment if he will issue further taxi licences in Limerick city and county and the surrounding area from now until the end of 1996; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [2319/94]

A decision to authorise the grant of new taxi licences to operate in the Limerick Taximeter area is a matter for Limerick Corporation.
