Question:138 Mr. Connor asked the Minister for the Environment if he will increase the funding to the National Roads Authority for the provision of route lighting on national roads in 1995. [2372/94]
Written Answers. - National Roads Lighting.
State funding is provided to the National Roads Authority in the form of block grants for the improvement and maintenance of national roads. It is a matter for the authority, having regard to its functions under the Roads Act, 1993, to determine how this funding is to be applied to the various categories of work and individual projects.
