139 Miss Harney asked the Minister for Health the plans, if any, he has to advance extra funding to the Eastern Health Board in an endeavour to reduce the waiting lists for orthodontic treatment, particularly for Category two patients, in the Dublin area; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My Department is currently in discussions with the Eastern Health Board regarding the development of the boards orthodontic services in accordance with the strategy outlined in the Dental Health Action Plan and regarding the resources the board may require to implement this strategy.
