Question:

84 Ms F. Fitzgerald asked the Minister for Justice the number of Garda patrol cars stationed in Rathmines Garda Station, Dublin 6; the number of gardaí attached to Rathmines Garda Station, Dublin 6; the area covered by the station; and the approximate population served by the station. [2438/94]

The Garda authorities inform me that four mobile units are attached to Rathmines Garda station comprising two patrol cars and two motorcycles. The current manpower at the station is 76. The station serves an area of about two square kilometres and has a population of approximately 31,000.
