Vol. 447 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Written Answers. - Castlepollard (Westmeath) School.

Paul McGrath

Question:

320 Mr. McGrath asked the Minister for Education the proposals, if any, she has to allocate funds for the extension of the vocational school in Castlepollard, County Westmeath; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [2970/94]

To assist my Department in determining how best the long term accommodation needs of the vocational school in Castlepollard might be addressed, County Westmeath Vocational Education Committee was asked to submit additional information in relation to a recently furnished preliminary report on the condition of the existing school accommodation. On receipt of this information my Department will assess the situation as urgently as possible. In the circumstances the question of allocating funds for a project at the school does not immediately arise.
