321 Mr. McGrath asked the Minister for Education the number of mature students who have received higher education grants since the scheme was introduced; the number who are in receipt of the adjacent rate; the number who are in receipt of the full rate; and if she will make a statement on the matter. The detailed information requested by the Deputy is not available to my Department at present.
Statistics currently being compiled will enable my Department in the future to indicate the number of mature students in receipt of grants classified by dependent and independent and I will arrange that the Deputy be apprised of the outcome in due course.
