Vol. 447 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Written Answers. - Road Accident Statistics.

Seán Haughey

Question:

117 Mr. Haughey asked the Minister for Justice if the gardaí are required to keep up-to-date road accident statistics for each district in the Dublin area; and if so, if statistics for a location (details supplied) will be made available. [3029/94]

I am informed by the Garda authorities that they keep a record of all traffic accidents coming to their notice, and that if the Deputy wishes to write to the Commissioner indicating the type of accident statistics he requires, and for what period, every effort will be made to provide the information for the location concerned.
