I refer to the reply to Question No. 172 of 18 October 1994.
While extensive planning work has been carried out with Cohesion Fund assistance in relation to this scheme, my Department awaits the formal submission of proposals by Dublin Corporation.
EU requirements are that an appropriate level of treatment for discharges of sewage from major coastal cities and towns must be provided by the year 2000.
