23 Mr. Callely asked the Minister for Equality and Law Reform his views on whether, due to the escalating number of people suffering from alzheimer's disease, legislation should be introduced to adequately address all matters relating to their legal affairs or those of their spouses or family; if and when legislation will be introduced; and if he will make a statement on the matter. A Bill on the subject matter of this question is in the course of being drafted and the details will be announced as soon as possible in the normal way.
