I am aware that the South Eastern Health Board regard the provision of an elderly mentally infirm unit at St. Patrick's Hospital, Cashel as a vital element of their community care programme. The request for funding will be considered in the context of the Department's capital allocation for 1995, having regard to the overall priorities of the South-Eastern Health Board.
