Ceisteanna—Questions. Written Answers. - County Tipperary Schools.

Theresa Ahearn

Question:

33 Mrs. T. Ahearn asked the Minister for Education when the money allocated for the provision of a school (details supplied) in County Tipperary for the recently built extension will be provided; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [3641/94]

My Department's professional advisers have been requested to furnish a report on the completed extension at the school referred to by the Deputy. On receipt of a satisfactory report payment of the grant will issue to the chairman of the board of management.

Theresa Ahearn

Question:

34 Mrs. T. Ahearn asked the Minister for Education if the requisite finance for the provision of the proposed Community College in Cahir, County Tipperary, will be provided in 1995 in order that the project can proceed; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [3649/94]

The planning of the proposed new community college in Cahir, County Tipperary is proceeding and the vocational education committee recently submitted the detailed design for the project to my Department. At this stage it is not possible to indicate whether provision will be made for this project to commence in 1995. The question of including the project in the 1995 building programme will be considered in due course in the light of the capital available and having regard to the Department's other commitments and priorities.
