Vol. 447 No. 11

Written Answers. - Kildare Town By-Pass.

Seán Power

Question:

134 Mr. Power asked the Minister for the Environment in view of the oral inquiry which took place in 1994, if he will now allow the by-pass for Kildare Town to proceed; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1422/95]

The inspector's report on the public local inquiry into the Kildare County Council (Kildare Town By-Pass) Motorway Scheme has been completed and will be submitted to me shortly for consideration. There will be no avoidable delay on my part in making a decision on the matter.
