Question:

267 Mr. McGrath asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry if any civil bills issued against his Department by any farmer for payment of headage payments due to him in any of the last five years; if so, the number of farmers involved for each such year; the time lapse between issue of the civil bill and payment in each case; the legal expenses, if any, that were paid in each case; if interest on money due was paid in any of these cases; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My Department is compiling a list of civil bills issued against it for payment of headage during the last five years and will forward it to the Deputy with the information requested by him as soon as possible.
