Ahern asked the Minister for Transport, Energy and Communications if he will make a statement on recent reports that parts of the baggage handling facilities of Dublin Airport are to be privatised; the reason this decision was made; the extent of the change; if the Trade Unions were consulted; and if this decision conflicts with Government policy as outlined in a Government of Renewal.
