Withdrawal of Bills: Motion.

I move:

(1) That notwithstanding anything in Standing Order 92 leave be given to withdraw the following Bills:—

—Regional Technical Colleges (Amendment) (No. 2) Bill, 1944,

—Committees of the Houses of the Oireachtas (Privilege and Procedure) (Amendment) Bill, 1994;

(2) That the Orders for Second Stage of the following Bills be discharged and the Bills be withdrawn:—

—Punishment of Incest (Amendment) Bill, 1993,

—Building Societies Bill, 1993,

—Electoral (Amendment) Bill, 1993,

—Telecommunications (Users Council) Bill, 1993,

—Local Government (Amendment) Bill, 1994,

—Refugee Protection Bill, 1994,

—Protection of Occupiers of Land (No. 2) Bill, 1994;

(3) That notwithstanding anything in Standing Orders leave be given by the Dáil to withdraw the motion for the Second Reading of the Irish Nationality and Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, 1994, which was moved by Deputy Gay Mitchell on 2 November, 1994, and that the Bill be withdrawn;

(4) That notwithstanding anything in Standing Orders leave be given by the Dáil to withdraw the amendment to the motion for the Second Reading of the Court and Court Officers Bill, 1994, moved by Deputy Eamon Gilmore on 2 November, 1994; and

(5) That leave be given to withdraw the following motion made by the Minister for Finance on 26 January, 1994:—

That it is expedient to amend the law relating to customs and inland revenue (including excise) and to make further provision in connection with finance.' "
