Written Answers. - Cork District Court Building.

Peter Barry

Question:

191 Mr. Barry asked the Minister for Justice when the new Cork District Court building in Anglesea Street, Cork will be operational; the details of the plan; if there is provision for closed circuit television; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [2683/95]

It is planned that the new District Court offices in Anglesea Street, Cork, will be open and fully operational by June 1995.

The building will comprise three courtrooms, a family law suite, consultation rooms, a victim support room and will be re-furbished to meet modern day court requirements. It will also accommodate the staff of the Cork District Court Office. There are no plans to provide close circuit television.
