Question:211 Mr. J. Higgins asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry the reason for the delay in the approval of a farm retirement pension claim of a person (details supplied) in County Mayo. [2559/95]
Written Answers. - Farm Retirement Pension.
The application in this case was received on 30 November 1994 and validated on 8 December 1994. The pension has now been approved. As pensions are paid monthly, payment of the pension will commence at the end of this month with effect from 8 December 1994.
