Question:113 Mrs. Geoghegan-Quinn asked the Minister for the Environment the present position regarding a project (details supplied) in County Galway. [3301/95]
I propose to take Questions Nos. 107 and 113 together.
Normal group scheme grants and contributions from members would not be sufficient to finance this scheme. The group have sought a special contribution towards meeting the cost of larger headworks needed to meet the existing and future development needs of the area. A decision regarding the scheme will be made as soon as possible.
