206 Mr. Finucane asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when a forest premium will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Limerick in view of the fact that all documentation has been supplied; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [3084/95]
I am pleased to inform the Deputy that a forest premium was approved in this case on 10 February 1995. A letter to this effect was issued to the applicant on that date. Payment of the premium will be processed on receipt of the appropriate fee.
207 Mr. Finucane asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when a farm retirement grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Limerick in view of the fact that all matters have been finalised and payment is outstanding; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The application in this case was received on 13 September 1994 but as it was found to be incomplete, it was not possible to validate it until 25 November 1994. I am pleased that the pension has now been approved and the first payment will be at the end of this month with effect from 25 November last. Further payments should be made at the end of each subsequent month.
