58 Mr. D. Ahern asked the Minister for Finance his intentions regarding the vacant landbank belonging to the State adjacent to the former Carrickarnon customs post, County Louth; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [3278/95]
The property is surplus to State requirements.However, the title is complicated and its disposal is therefore not a straightforward matter. Proposals for disposal made by the Commissioners of Public Works are under consideration by my Department and a decision will be conveyed to the Commissioners as soon as possible.
