Vol. 450 No. 2

Written Answers. - Galway Day Care Centre.

Michael Ring

Question:

65 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Health the plans, if any, the Western Health Board has with regards to a day care centre (details supplied) in Headford, County Galway; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [4830/95]

Limerick East): The Western Health Board is responsible in the first instance for the delivery of health services in County Galway. I am informed by the board that the psychiatric day care service in Headford was recently transferred to a temporary premises when the lease on the building from where the service had been provided ran out. The board considers that the temporary premises is unsatisfactory in the medium or long term and is in discussion concerning the purchase of a local property.
