Vol. 450 No. 2

Written Answers. - Perrystown Drainage System.

Pat Upton

Question:

89 Dr. Upton asked the Minister for the Environment the present position in relation to the allocation of funding for the improvement of the drainage system in the Whitehall Road, Perrystown area of south Dublin; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [5003/95]

South Dublin County Council made an application to my Department in respect of this proposal under the 1994 small water and sewerage schemes programme. Given the primarily rural orientation of the programme, it was not possible to provide funding for the Perrystown proposal from this source. There is no further proposal for the Perrystown scheme with my Department.
