Question:

97 Mr. O'Dea asked the Minister for Education if she has received a request for a computer for school use from Doon CBS primary school, County Limerick; and, if so, if she will accede to this request. [4832/95]

My Department received a request on 2 March last from Doon CBS primary school requesting a computer for use by the school secretary. There is no scheme whereby my Department supplies computers to primary schools for the purpose stated in the application. Accordingly it is not possible to accede to the request.
