Vol. 450 No. 2

Written Answers. - Recreational Facilities Grants.

John Browne

Question:

99 Mr. Browne (Carlow-Kilkenny) asked the Minister for Education if the grant allocation for recreational facilities under the 1994 scheme has been paid to clubs (details supplied) in County Meath; and, if not, when these grants will be paid. [4848/95]

In August 1994, grants were allocated by my Department under the recreational facilities scheme to the clubs concerned. All the clubs were notified of the grant amount and terms and conditions to be met for payment of the grants.

The current position in respect of each of the clubs in question is in the form of a tabular statement which I propose to circulate in the Official Report.
