103 Mr. Bree asked the Minister for Education if her Department will consider purchasing the Novitiate building at the old Marist Convent in Carrick-on-Shannon, County Leitrim, for use as a full-time teachers' centre for the region. [4907/95]
There is agreement, in principle, for the provision of a teachers' centre in Carrick-on-Shannon, County Leitrim. My Department has recently made inquiries about the acquisition of the Novitiate building at the old Marist Convent in Carrick-on-Shannon, County Leitrim, with a view to assessing its suitability for development as a full-time teachers' centre for the region.
