24 Miss Flaherty asked the Minister for Justice if she has concluded her consideration of the Law Reform Commission report on non-fatal injuries to persons; and the legislation, if any, she plans to introduce to implement any or all of its findings. [3873/95]

47 Miss Flaherty asked the Minister for Justice if she has concluded her consideration of the Law Reform Commission report on non-fatal offences against the person: and if she will implement its findings as a matter of priority. [4817/95]

I propose to take Questions Nos. 24 and 47 together.

The recommendations in the Law Reform Commission report on non-fatal offences against the person are at present being examined in my Department with a view to bringing forward suitable amending legislation. My precise proposals for legislation will be announced in the normal way in due course.
