Written Answers. - Driving Instruction Regulation.
I have no proposals to regulate on a statutory basis the business of providing driving instruction. However, the two national organisations representing driving schools and driving instructors have formulated proposals for a voluntary registration scheme which they aim to introduce in association with the Irish Insurance Federation. My Department will continue to offer help and guidance in bringing the scheme to maturity.
