The approved allocation of posts to a community school is determined by my Department and may not be exceeded.
The appointment and dismissal of teaching, secretarial and maintenance staff in a community school is a matter, in the first instance, for the board of management of the school.
In regard to chaplains, I refer the Deputy to my reply to Parliamentary Question No. 79 on Thursday, 16 February 1995.
