248 Mr. Molloy asked the Minister for the Marine if any semi-State bodies for which he is responsible have made direct or indirect financial contributions to any political party in the past three years; and, if so, if he will give details regarding these contributions, including the amounts paid and the name of each party; and if he will make a statement on the matter. As a result of initial inquiries I am not aware of any semi-State body which operates under the aegis of my Department having made either a direct or indirect financial contribution to any political party in the past three years. However, I am writing formally to the semi-State bodies under the aegis of my Department and I will communicate with the Deputy as soon as I have replies.
