Written Answers. - Health Boards' Funding.
Limerick East): I have assumed that the Deputy is seeking information on all aspects of health boards' funding, including income, for the years in question. On that basis, the relevant details for the years 1991-94 are set out in the following table. In the case of some health boards for 1993 and all health boards for 1994 unaudited outturn figures have been used in the absence of audited accounts. It should be noted that as a result of the special funding made available in 1994 to eliminate excess debt in health agencies, the allocations of health boards for the years 1991 to 1993 inclusive, fall to be increased. It is not possible, at this stage, to provide the information sought by the Deputy in respect of 1995, as financial plans for the year have not been completed by all boards.
