Vol. 451 No. 6

Written Answers. - Jobs Statistics.

Pat Upton

Question:

11 Dr. Upton asked the Taoiseach the number of industrial jobs per 100,000 of population which are located in Dublin, Leinster excluding Dublin, Munster and Connaught/Ulster. [6347/95]

The most recent relevant information available in respect of provinces is from the 1991 census of population. Subsequent information for each planning region and for Dublin is available from the 1993 Labour Force Survey. I propose to circulate in the Official Report a table containing the information requested by the Deputy, as recorded in the 1991 census of population, together with regional estimates from the 1993 Labour Force Survey.
