87 Mr. Browne (Wexford) asked the Minister for Education the reason for the delay in having remedial works carried out to St. Aidan's primary school, Enniscorthy, County Wexford, as agreed between the teachers and the Department of Education following the amalgamation of Enniscorthy Christian Brothers' school and the Presentation Convent; and if she will arrange to have these works carried out as a matter of urgency. My Department has sanctioned a scheme of major improvement works at St. Aidan's primary school, Enniscorthy, County Wexford to upgrade the existing facilities in the context of the amalgamation which took place last year. In view of the extent of the works in question it has been necessary to undertake the project on a phased basis. It is hoped the works can be completed during the summer holidays.
