Adjournment Debate Matters.

I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 20 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Eric Byrne — The urgent need to provide access to a methadone maintenance programme in all prisons and to enable drug abusers to continue the programme in the community following their release from prison; (2) Deputy Eoin Ryan — The urgent need to prevent the imminent closure of the Irish School of Ecumenics; (3) Deputy Joe Walsh — The need to extend the national fuel scheme by one month in view of the severe cold spell of weather during April.

All three matters are considered to be in order and have been selected accordingly. They will be taken in the following order: Deputies Eoin Ryan, Eric Byrne and Joe Walsh.
