51 Éamon Ó Cuív asked the Minister for Transport, Energy and Communication whether he has received any proposals regarding the change of ownership or management of the Great Southern Hotel Group; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [7674/95]

Minister for Transport, Energy and Communication (Mr. Lowry)

The Great Southern Hotels Company Ltd. is owned by Aer Rianta. I have not received any proposals for a change of ownership and no such plans are being considered. Management of the hotels is a matter for the hotel company.
