Question:144 Mr. Browne (Wexford) asked the Minister for Education if she will approve the payment of a grant under the recreational facilities scheme to a school (details supplied) in County Wexford. [9324/95]
Written Answers. - Recreational Facilities Scheme Grant.
My Department has received an application from the group in question under the recreational facilities scheme. The current position is that the £2 million provided for this scheme in 1995 is combined to existing projects where grants were allocated in 1994 and where claims for payment will arise this year. Grant allocation to new projects can only be considered in the event of funds being made available for the scheme.
