Vol. 453 No. 3

Written Answers. - Wicklow Land Registration.

Willie O'Dea

Question:

161 Mr. O'Dea asked the Minister for Justice the number of land commission transactions for registration that are still outstanding in County Wicklow; the average length of delay; the period for which the oldest such transaction has been awaiting completion; and the reason, if any, for these delays. [9328/95]

I am informed by the Registrar of Titles that there are two County Wicklow Land Commission cases awaiting registration.

I understand that the oldest outstanding case is that of Schedule No. 86636 which was lodged in the Land Registry on 5 October 1984. Queries which issued to the Land Commission on this schedule on 4 December, 1986 have not as yet been resolved. A reminder has issued today to the Land Commission concerning the outstanding queries.
