43 Mr. N. Treacy asked the Minister for Arts, Culture and the Gaeltacht the outcome of a meeting he had with members of the Burren Action Group on 10 May 1995; the conclusions, if any, reached; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [9851/95]
Dr. Moosajee Bhamjee brought some members of the Burren Action Group to meet me on 10 May 1995. I explained the position as I had previously done in reply to Parliamentary Questions Nos. 12, 15, 31, 41 and 42 on 26 Aibreán 1995, regarding the site at Mullaghmore and my proposals to establish a steering committee to oversee the preparation of a management plan for the Burren National Park in the context of a nature conservation strategy for north Clare. It was not a decision-making meeting and accordingly there were no conclusions.
