Vol. 453 No. 7

Written Answers. - Burren (Clare) National Park.

Tony Killeen

Question:

57 Mr. Killeen asked the Minister for Arts, Culture and the Gaeltacht the reason six items requiring clarification raised by Clare County Council with the Office of Public Works on 15 February 1995, regarding the Burren National Park Centre were not previously addressed either by the Office of Public Works or the Environmental Impact Study; and if he will now clarify them. [9430/95]

I am informed that the six items on which Clare County Council sought clarification from the Office of Public Works on 15 February 1995, had in fact been addressed in environmental impact statements and in correspondence between the Office of Public Works and the county council. It was, of course, quite proper for the county council to seek such further clarification as they thought was necessary.
