168 Mrs. T. Ahearn asked the Minister for Defence if the future of Kickham barracks in Clonmel, County Tipperary is secure; if he intends to formally visit this barracks in the near future; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [10305/95]
There are no plans to close any military barracks, apart from Collins Barracks, Dublin which has already been announced.
Over the coming months it is my intention to visit as many units of the Defence Forces as possible. The arrangements for this programme of visits has not yet been finalised.
