Question:21 Mr. Deasy asked the Minister for Education if she will provide funding for the permanent extension to Dungarvan vocational school in the current year; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [10254/95]
Written Answers. - Fund for School Extension.
The County Waterford vocational education committee was requested by my Department to prepare a feasibility study and costings in relation to the options for developing the vocational school in Dungarvan.
A report from the vocational education committee's design team has recently been received by the Planning and Building Unit and is currently being considered. Some additional information has been requested from the vocational education committee in order that the matter can be fully examined.
As this project is at an early stage of planning there is no provision in the 1995 building programme for the funding of construction in the current year.
