169 Mr. Cowen asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry the promotions, if any, of Irish food that are planned by his Department within the country for 1995 and 1996; the projected costs of any such promotions; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [11877/95]

Under An Bord Bia Act, 1994 responsibility for the promotion of Irish food, including the detailed arrangements therefor, is vested in An Bord Bia.
