Vol. 455 No. 1

Written Answers. - County Wexford School.

Hugh Byrne

Question:

96 Mr. H. Byrne asked the Minister for Education if she will have arrangements made to have remedial works carried out immediately at a school (details supplied) in County Wexford in view of the fact that all of the window frames are rotten, some windows have fallen out and are currently boarded up and there is a doubt regarding the insurance cover due to the insecure condition of the building; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [11659/95]

My Department's professional advisers have recently completed a survey of the windows at the school in question and their report is expected shortly. My Department hopes to be in a position to convey a decision in the matter to the school authorities within the next couple of weeks.
