Written Answers. - Land Registry Dealings.

Joe Walsh

Question:

104 Mr. J. Walsh asked the Minister for Justice if she will expedite a Land Registry dealing for a person (details supplied) in County Wicklow. [12473/95]

I am informed by the Registrar of Titles that dealing No. D95KWO4398D is an application for voluntary transfer of part which was lodged in the Land Registry on 6 June 1995. Queries were issued to the applicant's solicitor on 14 June 1995 to which replies were received on 22 June 1995. The dealing is awaiting drafting of a new folio. I am further informed that the application is being expedited and it is hoped that it will be completed shortly.

Question:

105 Mr. J. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Justice if she will have arrangements made for an application to the Land Registry on behalf of a person (details supplied) in County Cork who is an applicant for installation aid to be registered without further delay in view of the fact that installation aid is not payable until such time as all registration formalities have been completed. [12474/95]

I am informed by the Registrar of Titles that dealing No. D95CKO0150Y (formerly No. D94CK14196A) is an application for a voluntary transfer of part which was originally lodged in the Land Registry on 1 December 1994.

The Land Registry returned the application on 7 December 1994, to the applicant's solicitors for further attention. The application was relodged in the Land Registry on 6 January, 1995 and I understand that the dealing has now been mapped and the new folio is being drafted at present.

I am further informed that, subject to the dealing being in order, it is hoped that registration will be completed in about two weeks.
