I can assure the Deputy that there was a considerable degree of consultation between me and my colleague the Minister for Education, Deputy Bhreathnach, and between officials of our Departments in the course of the preparation of the White Paper on Education and I was very pleased at the significant extent to which our input to the arts, and to the Irish language, was accepted by the Minister and assimilated into the White Paper.
