90 Mr. Molloy asked the Minister for the Environment the original contract price and the additional cost paid in respect of extras over and above the contract price in respect of a newly erected itinerant halting site at Knockaphunta, Castlebar, Co. Mayo. [12556/95]
A contract price of £250,307 was approved by my Department for this project in September 1994. Mayo County Council has not informed the Department of any extra costs on the contract. Apart from the contract, costs arise for technical fees, electricity (ESB) connection, land, and miscellaneous items. While full details of the amounts for these items have not yet been submitted by the council, grants totalling £325,000 have been paid to date based on certificates from the council of the expenditure incurred by them.
