91 Mr. Aylward asked the Minister for Education if she intends to provide a new community school at Ferrybank, Waterford, to cater for the pupils from the existing vocational school at Slieverue, County Kilkonny; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [12450/95]
I have recently approved, in principle, the provision of a new Community School at Ferrybank, County Waterford, which will be formed following an amalgamation of Slieverue Vocational School, County Kilkenny and Sacred Heart Secondary School, Ferrybank.
The school managements have been advised of my decision and my Department will be in further contact shortly regarding the details.
