Vol. 456 No. 1

Written Answers. - Monaghan Town Water Augmentation Scheme.

Rory O'Hanlon

Question:

118 Dr. O'Hanlon asked the Minister for the Environment the total estimated cost of the Monaghan town water augmentation scheme; the amount of money provided in 1995; when work will commence; and when it is expected that the scheme will be completed and operational. [13402/95]

This scheme has been approved for financing under the Cohesion Fund and is due for completion in 1998 at an estimated cost of some £8.5 million. Planning of the scheme is at a preliminary stage and the allocation for it in 1995 will depend on progress in this regard by the end of the year.
