25 Miss Quill asked the Minister for Education the terms of the lease entered into by her Department in respect of the use of school buildings for examination purposes; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [13613/95]
My Department does not lease premises from schools during the examination period. It is a matter for schools to provide accommodation for the candidates they wish to enter for the certificate examinations. My Department does, however, specify the minimum amount of space which should be provided in respect of each candidate and also specify such things as the suitability of accommodation for listening comprehension tests.
