40 Mr. Molloy asked the Minister for Health the name and address of the chairperson and other persons appointed by him to the Food Safety Advisory Board. [13631/95]

Limerick East): Dr. Fergus Hill, Dublin Region Public Analyst, Eastern Health Board, was appointed Chairman of the Food Safety Advisory Board on 22 June 1995. The board's secretariat is temporarily located at Floor 9, O'Connell Bridge House, Dublin 2, in premises provided by my Department.

The other fifteen members of the board are as follows: Mr. James Duggan, Principal Officer, Department of Health; Dr. James Kiely, Deputy Chief Medical Officer, Department of Health; Mr. Raymond Ellard, Chief Environmental Health Officer, Department of Health; Professor John Hannan, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University College, Dublin; Ms Mary McCarthy-Buckley, Faculty of Food Science and Technology, University College, Cork; Dr. Vivion Tarrant, Director of Operations, National Food Centre, Dunsinea, Dublin 15; Ms Maura Nolan, Principal Officer, Department of Agriculture, Food and Forestry; Mr. Colm Gaynor, Director of Veterinary Services, Department of Agriculture, Food and Forestry; Mr. Seán O'Donoghue, Engineer, (Sea Fisheries), Department of the Marine; Ms Ailish Forde, Assistant Director, Irish Business and Employers Confederation (IBEC); Ms Mary Kearns, Office of the Director of Consumer Affairs; Dr. Cliona Foley-Nolan, Director of Community Care and Medical Officer of Health, Southern Health Board; Professor Michael Gibney, Department of Clinical Medicine, Trinity College, Dublin; Professor John Flynn, Consultant Microbiologist, University College Hospital, Galway and Dr. Emer Shelley, Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, Irish Heart Foundation.
