Vol. 456 No. 2

Written Answers. - School Grant.

Noel Treacy

Question:

68 Mr. N. Treacy asked the Minister for Education the reason a grant has not been paid to a school (details supplied) in County Galway for the past eight years; the date on which it will be paid; the amount of grant to be paid; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [13626/95]

My Department does not have any record of an outstanding grant payment due to the school in question. The chairman of the board of management has been advised of this. He was invited to write to the Department providing information to support his claim. On receipt of this information the claim will be examined. If it is found that there is money due, it will be paid without delay.
